Teaching

I have extensive international teaching experience, having taught in Hong Kong and the United States before joining York University in 2002, as well as in Australia for 2.5 years during my leave of absence.  At York, I have taught undergraduate courses at all levels, two courses for the MDes program, and served as a supervisor and on the supervisory committee in both my home unit and beyond.  I have long advocated innovation in teaching, evidenced by my initiation of a fully online course and new areas of design inquiry. In the future, I will continue to explore opportunities for new programs and courses to accommodate changes in the world that we are living in.
